April 2010

• Our recent Ribby Hall weekend was a great success and we'd like to thank everyone who came.  We've received some lovely feedback about the weekend - so much so we're busy organising the next Ribby Hall weekend!
   
  • I just wanted to let you know that the weekend at Ribby Hall was fantastic. Wayne and Sharon were brilliant hosts and the facilities and accommodation were excellent.  It was a great idea to put this weekend on.  Mandy.
     
  • A really good event, the instruction from Wayne and Sharon were first rate and done in a fun way.  Ideal for beginners.  The accommodation was excellent and the facilities on site were super.  Great value for money too, I would recommend this to anyone.  Rob.
     
  • Excellent weekend, Wayne is a superb teacher supported by Sharon who made sure we were all comfortable in our accommodation.  Cottages are of a very high standard, dancing studio perfect shape and size, leisure facilities and restaurants are all in close proximity.  Excellent value weekend, loved the dancing, the people and the whole experience.  Would love to do it again.  Sue.

• New class: Strictly Ballroom & Latin American Junior (age 6 to 13) starting on Wednesday 16th September 5.30pm to 6.30pm
   
• New class: Girls Street Dancing (age 6 to 13) starting on Wednesday 16th September 6.30pm to 7.30pm
   
• New event: Medal Presentation and family night on Saturday 12th September.  Contact any member of the team or the office for tickets (£2.50 advanced £3.00 on the door)
   
• New event: Social night and fundraiser - Come and watch our Adult Team members perform their competition routines!  Tickets £10 (members) £15 (non-members).  Saturday October 10th.  Contact any member of the team or the office to reserve your tickets.

• The Gallery has been updated with many new photos from the recent Supadance National finals.

  

24th September 2008

• The Cadman's Christmas Party will be Saturday 13th December.  It's our most popular social night of the calendar so book early before it sells out! Tickets are £18 for members and £22 for non-members.   more info
   
• New Year's eve Party
  Yes we're having a New Year's Eve Party after missing out on one last year.  This Black Ties and Masquerade Ball will include traditional ballroom and latin dancing, and our famous hot and cold buffet, bucks fizz and fireworks to bring in the New Year. more info
   

10th September 2008

• We're proud to present a Latin Demonstration night for members only on the 4th October.
  Tickets are selling fast! Contact any member of staff or call the office for more information!
   
• The Dancersize class was a great success and will be a permanent fixture so give it a go, great tunes and steps featuring a different Latin American dance every week. No Partner required, just a love of good rhythm and fun!! Men and women welcome.
   

12th August 2008

• A new Latin American Dancersize class will be starting on Monday 1st September and every Monday after, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  No partner required.  A great way to learn to dance and exercise to the sounds and dance style from Latin America.
   
• Next Medal test date is Sunday October 19th.
   
• Have you noticed the changes in our studio?  We've refurbished the studios and the foyer, and both studios are fully air conditioned.

• Summer Ball 2008
  
  Thank you to everyone who came to our Summer Ball on the 19th July 2008.

It was a great evening with everyone hitting the dance floor to the sounds from the Tony Greenwood Big Band.

Our thanks to Yordan who was well employed as our Taxi Driver, and Wayne did his usual great linkage of tunes whilst the band caught their breath.

Our next social evening will be on Saturday 4th October and the entertainment - just to keep you in suspense - will be advised shortly.

• Big Band Night coming to Cadmans on Saturday 19th July 2008.
  We're proud to welcome the Tom Greenwood Band back to Cadmans, they'll be raising the roof with their repertoire of ballroom, latin and salsa music.  Definitely not to be missed.  Tickets are selling quickly at £10 per person.  Call the office for further information or to book 0161 973 6225.

  4 week course for beginners.  Cost £22.
   
• New Technique Classes every Friday evening from 8.15pm
  After numerous requests we're now offering group technique classes, each class focused on two different dances.
